The original condition

The original breaker showed visible wear, contamination and age-related deterioration. Equipment in this condition can increase maintenance demands and affect dependable plant operation if deterioration is allowed to continue.

Work completed

The breaker was refurbished and retrofitted with a 1250A Magvatech unit, then restored to a clean, professional and service-ready condition. The photographed units were numbers 9 and 10 in a planned 50-unit programme, bringing the documented programme to approximately 20% completion at that stage.
